The Challenge
We adopted a social-first video model, so our main challenge was finding a way to showcase the important software features in a fun, engaging way within 30-60 seconds in a very short window of time.
The Idea
Coordinating schedules with SMEs was not ideal, so we landed on an animated commercial-style video.
The Execution
I used stock images with our products edited in to show the software in use in various situations. For the infinite canvas part, I had to recreate the software environment in order to show it in a fun, snappy way. I took icons from Figma, created others in Illustrator, and reassembled them in After Effects for animation. Adding the click effects was pretty fun too.
